Assurance

Here for You

Founded in 1999, we are, and will always be privately held and family-owned. Completely free from venture capital, private equity and outside interests, what’s best for our customers can truly be our first priority.

Professionals, not Geeks

Our in-house team of experienced and personable field engineers, consultants, office staff, and computer repair techs are qualified experts with the most up-to-date training available. We are always ready to assist, with a genuine passion for what we do.

Here to Stay

Top Notch has weathered recessions, corporate smear campaigns, disease pandemics, and civil unrest standing tall. Partner with us, and rest assured we’ll be around to support your technology and stand behind our products for as long as you need us.

Dependable Quality

Ask around. We do a good job. Your satisfaction, return business, and referrals are priceless to us. We treat you how we would like to be treated and offer warranties on all of our work.

Core Values

Excellence

We’ve learned many things from over 20 years in the IT industry. Our 97% client retention rate for managed services doesn’t come by chance.

Equity

Decision makers, end users, and the general public alike shall be assisted in any capacity without judgment; Furthermore, a client or user’s personal identity shall lend no influence in their potential to leverage our offerings.

People

When Top Notch Computers hires a new team member, expertise and experience are not the only traits we seek. Dedication and passion are required.

Sustainability

We are a technology firm but we prioritize clients and our world class staff above all else. We will positively impact our region as we build, scale, secure and manage information systems.

Brand Promises

Competent Assistance in 5 Minutes or Less

Whether a technical or administrative matter, you will be working with the right person before the 5-minute mark.

Customer Success

Clients who implement our recommendations routinely outperform competitors who don't. A proper technology posture and modern security controls will help you reach new heights.

Comprehensive IT Under One Roof

Our core competencies span more service offerings than any other tech firm you'll find. When the right person to fill a role is missing, we locate and hire them. If a piece of technology we need to best serve our clients doesn't exist, we invent it.

Our Managed Clients Don't Get Hacked

Over the last decade, we’ve completely overhauled our security stack based on deep data dives and ensuing analytics, industry standards, and relevant past experience. We are proudly accountable to those who heed our advice on data protection, organization & workflow, and information security.

 Differentiators

Autonomy

Whatever the capacity of service, we are not beholden to any particular vendors. This includes software firms, equipment manufacturers, and SaaS platforms. Our loyalty is with you-when you win, so do we.

Leadership

Our leadership team, with zero exceptions, came from frontline IT service positions and worked their way to where they are. In leadership, knowledge of the subject matter is critical, and often differentiates actual, healthy companies from those driven by outsiders with an agenda.

Tools

While most MSP’s run directly to the same handful of vendors for customer management, workflows, and cybersecurity, our servicing and security stacks are designed by us from ground up.

Flexibility

As a Top Notch client, you can request service YOUR way (in which you’re most comfortable)-Ticket portal, phone, or email. All requests will be lent the same level of attention.

  Meet Our Leadership

Dedicated professionals driving our mutual success

Christian Argie

-  Chief Executive Officer

When Christian was 17, he started a part-time computer business out of his dorm room. Following a handful of “road warrior” gigs and government contracts, he set out on what would become a lifelong quest: Transitioning his childhood dream into the highest-volume IT service firm in the US, backed by the most talented IT group ever assembled. Christian has been featured on CBS, NBC, and FOX as a recognized authority in IT administration and cybersecurity. Outside of Top Notch, he is a frequent speaker at industry events, often advising other service-based entrepreneurs in scaling their firms without the use of private capital.

Did you know: Christian has never cared for sports; Instead, he spent his youth learning to play instruments (including his own hands) and sing.

Landon Bradley

-  Chief Information Officer

Years ago, Landon was the star offensive lineman for the UVA Cavaliers, where he majored in business and minored in management information systems. Like Christian, he spent his time after in the corporate sectors and on contract gigs straight out of college. Upon joining Top Notch, Landon was already and expert in networking, virtualization, cloud, email, and support, and complex email systems. But what really sets Landon apart is his vision for leveraging technology in business-mainly through his love for data science. Landon now manages all aspects of the tech and process side of Top Notch, allowing him to flex his muscles as the data-driven leader he was born to be.

Did you know: Landon height of 6’8 matches his enormous personality!

Mary Meghan Hester

-  Chief Administrative Officer

After obtaining her English degree from Ole Miss, Meg entered the retail industry at the ground level. Over a more-than-twenty year career, she most recently oversaw the integration of the Public Lands store brand into Dick’s Sporting Goods in an area where she operated as a regional manager. Since joining us in 2024, Meg’s impact at Top Notch has been nothing short of transformative. Her role is to oversee all of our “non-tech” processes, client-facing and H.R alike. Since stepping into her role, Meg has implemented cost-effective operational changes that directly benefit our clients by helping keep service fees lower than those of our competitors. Her ability to see the big picture while still managing the fine details is what makes her such a valuable asset.

Did you know: Meg has remarked on though we’re a small company, we are better organized than the Fortune 500 places she came from.

Mitchell Ford

-  Account Management & Business Development

Mitchell came to us following a career in event sales & planning. Though initially a stranger to the channel, his knack for risk management and spotting growth opportunities has been invaluable to clients. He has, in a short amount of time, gotten to know our clients and brought in plenty of new ones. Mitch is always active in the community, convincing and demonstrating to companies everywhere that business systems and cybersecurity are essential components of success and are here to stay.

Did you know: Mitch served 10 years as a combat medic in the U.S. Army!

Shawn Reynolds

-  Director of Internal Operations

Shawn Reynolds journey in technology began long before his professional career — back when Apple II computers were standard fixtures in elementary school classrooms. In the fourth grade, he was introduced to programming, sparking a lifelong curiosity about how systems work, how they fail, and how they can be strengthened. That early fascination shaped a career spanning nearly three decades across enterprise technology, government innovation, and managed IT services.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in computer science from James Madison University in 1996, Shawn joined America Online (AOL) as an Associate QA Engineer. Over the next decade, he rose to Principal QA Engineer, operating in a director-level capacity as a Test Architect. There, he led large-scale quality initiatives and helped build testing frameworks that supported millions of users worldwide.

While at AOL, Shawn also became the first QA Engineer appointed as Business Owner of a global metrics reporting system. In that role, he bridged technology and executive leadership—transforming complex operational data into clear, actionable insight that drove business decisions at scale.

He later served as a government contractor with Serco North America supporting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he reviewed advanced technology innovations involving AI-driven systems, robotics, and automated manufacturing platforms. This experience provided a front-row seat to emerging technologies long before they became mainstream.

For the past 12 years, Shawn has focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses leverage technology as a strategic advantage rather than a liability. Starting in dispatch and advancing through field engineering, he now serves as Director of Internal Operations for Top Notch Computers. He ensures the company’s systems, security posture, and operational processes equip its team to protect clients, support compliance requirements, and keep businesses running smoothly.

Across every stage of his career, Shawn’s focus has remained consistent: building resilient, secure systems that give business owners clarity, stability, and confidence in an increasingly complex digital world.

Casey Quinn

-  Marketing Director

After building a foundation in the design and print industry, Casey Quinn spent over a decade developing creative solutions that help businesses stand out and communicate effectively. He later expanded into marketing, where he has spent more than five years leading strategy, brand development, and digital campaigns focused on measurable growth.

In his role as Marketing Director at Top Notch Computers, Casey oversees all marketing initiatives, from brand positioning and content creation to lead generation and digital strategy. Since joining the team, he has played a key role in strengthening the company’s visibility, refining its messaging, and driving consistent growth across both residential and commercial markets.

In addition to his work in marketing, Casey serves as a freelance Associate Producer for UVA Athletics, contributing to live broadcasts on ESPN and ACC Network. This experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments has sharpened his attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to execute at a high level. His combination of creative expertise, strategic thinking, and real-time production experience makes him a valuable part of the Top Notch team.
